Our Story
In the 1990s, two brothers began selling pest control services door-to-door during their summer breaks to earn money for college. The work was long and demanding, but they quickly found purpose—and success—helping families solve their pest problems. They became licensed technicians and discovered opportunities to improve the customer experience that other companies overlooked. Before long, they left academia behind and committed to building something of their own.
By 2000, they launched Official Pest Prevention with just two employees, one truck, and a small office in Elk Grove. From those humble beginnings, the company grew steadily, driven by a commitment to quality service and a genuine care for customers.
Today, we serve over 50,000 customers from Oroville to Bakersfield and Fremont to Placerville, a fleet of more than 100 vehicles, and a dedicated team of over 150 professionals.
In 2022, Official Pest Prevention joined Anticimex, a global leader in modern pest control.
